Here are the most comment questions we're asked about brand audits and assessments. What questions do you have?

The two are often used interchangeably.

For us, the brand audit is a survey of all brand touchpoints—the "what you have." The brand assessment is the analysis—the "what's working, what's not, and where to start."

Further complicating this is a collection of other terms, like "brand health assessment." We would consider that to be equivalent. But some of them mean something a little different to us. People might talk about a "digital brand audit" or "digital health assessment." We consider those to be similar, but focused only on the digital aspects of a brand.

Clarity is always a good idea, and industry jargon can sometimes obscure meaning, so make sure to ask your provider what exactly they mean with the language they use.
